Norms and Roles
... the different roles being played getting to know the norms that had been laid down by the group in the beginning. This meeting was about a project that had been going on for about 3 months and all the Team members were clear with the roles that they were to perform in keeping with the norms. There were 5 members in all. The roles assigned to them are as follows: „Ï Mr. Ayub (the Leader) „Ï Mr. Abdul Rehman (Organizer) „Ï Mr. Sohail (Evaluator) „Ï Mr. Hussein (Researcher) „Ï Mr. Amir (Encourager) All these above mentioned roles were assigned to them but at the time of the meeting I could see some of them playing roles which were to aid the team to achieve its goal in the most efficient manner. These roles included Innovator, Evaluator, Sympathizer, Tension Reliever etc. Once the meeting was over I was given a chance to go through the norms that had been laid in the very beginning and all of them have been successfully following them.
