...ad it ten times worse then we could imagine. There is trouble in the air, and when the people refuse to believe Eliezer’s father, you can feel the tension building. When Eliezer is in the concentration camp, the surrounding engulfs you, and you can’t even bear to think of what it would be like living in one of those dirty, dreadful camps. If they even look at one of the guards the wrong way, they get killed. If they can’t work, they get killed. It really does feel like you are there with him, the author uses such description, you can relate to what he is saying even though we have never been through it. That shows a sign of a great piece of literature. Finding a needle in a hay stack is easier than finding a book I actually like. Night is finding the needle in the hay stack. This book was not only gripping, but powerful. When I sat down to read it, I actually felt like I was there. The subject is one I am very interested in. I have a passion for learning about World War II. Reading this novel, was not only historical, but it gave you the inside feelings. I like capturing what the author is trying to portray.
