This was to be expected because it has the greatest run-up distance and because the bicycle can gather more speed on the bitumen than the grass. The smallest jumping distance was the grass with a 5m run-up. This was expected for the same reason because the grass was not producing as much speed and the run-up distance was the minimum. During the experiment I realised Isaac Newton was a great man and did some further research on him. I though it would benefit anybody reading my assignment if I added a small background paragraph on Newton. Isaac Newton was born in Lincolnshire, near Grantham, on December 25, 1642.
