Newspaper: Future in the Digital Age

...re still those individuals who do not want to break the old tradition. I still think my coffee and newspaper every morning I wake up. Even thought it is not as often as I used to do it. I still find a way to go back to the old ways of reading a Penafiel 2 newspaper if time permits. In most cases, the weekends or holidays where I do not have to wake up early and go to work or school. I think the present web demographic is in people who would really rather see their news as print, because print gives more room for story details, analysis and commentary. That's certainly how I see news. So if you already have an audience, I don't see it going away even if video on the web becomes more feasible. This is according to David H. Dennis, author of an online article entitled, ?ONLINE-ADS: Future of Newspaper Websites.? As we can see, in this digital age, there are still those who like their breakfast the old way. Like how grandma or mom cooks it, the same thing goes with newspaper readers. There are still a handful of us that enjoy the smell of a newspaper in the morning. The future of the newspaper is still bright. I know for me it is here to stay. I will even let my future kids read it the old-fashioned way. The internet is a great source of information. But, I do not see it as a mining ground for the next generation of successful newspaper online. Besides the traditional readers, in order for the newspaper publications to survive the surge of the World Wide Web, they must refocus their agendas.
