New York - Metropolis of the american Dream
...ifferent interests, etc. , but they all had one thing in common: They all dreamed the “American Dream” and they wanted to make it New York City. I was impressed by their strong will, allthoug their were so many difficulties they had to face. The most diffcult thing is to find a job and an appartment you can afford, because in the “city of oppertunities”, everything is very expensive, particularly appartments in a safety area. I was also faszinated from the contrasts in New York City, on the one hand you can see all the great buildings, the expensive shops and restaurants, the strech-limos of the rich people, etc. but on the other hand you can see many homelees and poor people and shabby houses.
