National Debt in America
... The only problem is America seems to have a major Debt. Our debt is currently 34 Trillion Dollars and rising. Our presidents over the years have tried to come up with ideas to pull us out of debt. One of those presidents is Bill Clinton; he proposed in early 2000 that he would like to see the debt paid off this decade, 2010. Well if you ask me I don’t believe our debt will be paid off by 2010 or 2020 or… So why isn’t our debt getting paid off? I’ll tell you why, for a start this country spends more money than it has; in fact the debt rate is growing twice as fast as the economy is growing. Another key factor is War in 1991 when we went to war with Iraq it costs us 61 Billion Dollars. Any war will bring up cost in taxes but also brings up National Debt.
