My View on Bringing the World Closer to Utopia

All of these “powerhouse” countries that think they need to keep building up their militaries in case of war should take a lesson from Canada and other similar countries. Helping clean up deprived countries such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Argentina, and India would help make the world a more utopic place to live. By giving aid to these unfortunate countries, will help decrease poverty and end a large amount of unemployment and healthcare issues. Between 1990 and 2000, aid to Africa fell by one third. Few countries kept their promise that they would send aid and if they had, poor countries would not be in the state they are in now. In some countries, many people cannot read or write. This is something that needs improving and can be resolved if countries stop building up their militaries. During the cold war, the United States and Russia kept building, and building their armies and weapons to match each other. No fighting was ever done. Each country spent billions of dollars on weapons and built organizations such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Instead of purchasing and expanding their armies, countries can help improve the education of others to help make everyone more knowledgeable. By contributing to education many new ideas and inventions can be made to help us within our everyday life. Today in the world there are many opportunities for employment, to help get people off the streets to make the world a more utopic place.
