...off the train to see the sun shining and a bright 67 degrees. As we walked into the train station we were wondering if we had come to ski or sunbathe. After our hour long wait at the train station, we boarded our train and headed towards our destination. As the trip progressed, I got very eager knowing that in about two hours I would be surrounded by large mountains covered with tons of white, fluffy snow. We were coming up to a large mountain about a mile tall, which was a large mountain in the Rocky Mountain Chain, there was a large hole right through the middle of it in which our train was traveling. The 2.6 mile tunnel was very dark with only minimal lighting provided by the train and small lights on the tunnel walls. There was so much snow when we got to the end of the tunnel, and it was so beautiful. The first vehicle that I saw was a plow truck, plowing the road making paths through the freshly fallen snow, which was still accumulating. That was the most snow that I had ever seen in one place at one time, it was awesome. When the train came to a halt at the station, I was so eager that I could barely contain myself, keep in mind that I was only nine years old. Happy to see our luggage, and with our rental car waiting for us, we started to our condominium. By the time we got to our condo we were all very tired out from the long travel and the two hours time difference. My family and I all took six hour long naps, and when we woke up we went to the pool and jacuzzi to just relax. Then we went back to our room for the night, knowing that in the day to come we had a lot of mountain to cover and not a lot of time to do it. When we rolled into the ski resort the next morning, my whole family was astounded by the massive hills and awesome terrain.
