My First Time At a Tanning Salon
...ind the desk showed me to where I was supposed to get overcooked, and just explained the basics. Of course I wanted to ask: “Can I go naked?” but I wasn’t too sure. She left the room and said that the tanning bed would start in about 2 minutes. I had two minutes to strip down to my birthday suit, stick these little goggles over my eyes and lay down on a bed of lights. The bed had a top that closed down over you as well. I really don’t like small spaces. This was definitely putting my body and mind to a test! I don’t know about you, but I didn’t really feel comfortable laying down naked on something that a stranger laid down naked on, too. You don’t know where their body has been and for all you know, they could have some sort of contagious buttocks disease! That’s just nasty! Finally, I got enough courage to lay down on the bed before the two minutes were up. Not too sure if I wanted to expose my future children to powerful lights like that, so I covered up with the miniscule towel that was provided. I stuck the goggles on, closed the top part of the bed, got somewhat comfortable. Then, the lights came on. Ooooh yeah…I could get used to this. All those thoughts about being naked where someone else once laid, went right out the window. This felt great! It was so warm and cozy I could have fallen asleep. But after about 5 minutes or so, it was getting a little too hot. I began to sweat and started thinking, ‘When the hell is this thing going stop!’ By 7 minutes I was getting quite nervous and was anxious to get out. I began to sweat even more. I started to panic. I couldn’t take the heat any longer. I was about to give up and lift the cover back and jump out to save myself from being burnt to death. Then suddenly, “DING!” the tanning bed st...
