...an, and he wears his culture. Although I had never met the man, he greeted me in classic Italian style by letting me stay in his house and join him and his wife in a homemade Italian dinner. His thick Italian accent combined with his Mafioso personality made him a funny guy to be around. Jerry is a powerful and rich man. He lives in Miami in a very residential and upper class neighborhood. His house is huge, and he is loaded. Oddly enough, he is the head of a “construction” company. Jerry works all of the big hotel jobs on Miami Beach, and it is a very lucrative job. While my father and I were staying with him, he took us to the nicest restaurants in Miami, and even gave me spending money! After we left his house, he even gave us a free room at one of the hotels which he did construction to on Miami Beach. Jerry’s humor is a great thing to have in a relative. He has an exceptional sense of humor, mostly which I experienced from his anecdotes. While eating dinner, he tells us about his old war stories.
