...iting again, my eyes landed on my book shelves and all the storybooks and novels that I had read since I could read. I spotted such classics as “Tom Sawyer” and “2000 Leagues Under the Sea”, but also titles like “Ernie’s First Day of School”. The next thing that I saw was the ornately carved night stand that I have next to my bed. To my surprise, I was able to see for the first time that huge gashes were on the underside of the table, and there were spider webs glistening between the legs. These things had never been visible to me from an upright position before, and they made me wonder what else I might find as I continued to glance around the room. Next, came my bed, the item that I am most fond of in my room. My bed looks gigantic from down near the floor, and I can see my guitar and paintball gun underneath it. Thought I spend almost eight hours a night on my bed, I have never really seen the underside of it. Looking through my legs, I was able to see the springs, and all of the candy wrappers that I shove under there when I am too lazy to go to the trash can. After the bed, I saw my desk with the computer on it. It was while looking at the underside of my desk, that a big surprise came. For years I had thought that the desk was made out of solid oak, because my Grandfather made it for me, but it turns out that it was made out of particleboard instead. After looking at everything on the floor, I turned my gaze (with great difficulty) to the ceiling and to the pictures on the walls. On the ceiling, I could see the fan and the little dimples that are all over the drywall in my house for some reason.
