My Dream
...tudy regularly to pass my classes with high marks. Also to be on a soccer team at a college I will have to maintain a 2.0 grade point average while attending the college. I do not believe that will be a problem for me unless I literally try to fail my classes or skip them just about all the time. I think of myself to be somewhat of an intelligent young man that is capable of doing very well if I apply myself. I highly doubt that my grades will keep me from playing soccer for a college one day. As long as I complete my homework and attend class regularly I should do just fine with my classes. The most difficult thing that could keep me from playing soccer in college some day would probably be keeping myself in good shape and consuming the right foods. I try to exercise and work out daily, but more days then I would like I find myself being lazy and thinking to myself, “I’ll just do it tomorrow.” I also try to run several miles a day, especially during the soccer season to help me stay in shape. If I do not continue to work out and condition myself all throughout the year, I might as well give up on my dream of playing soccer for a college someday. I must choose the right foods to eat each day to help with my conditioning and staying in shape. Although I do not feel bananas are very tasty, they are a great source of potassium, which greatly helps prevent cramps towards the end of a game. Preventing cramps can completely change the outcome of a game and even a season in soccer. Pushing yourself that extra little bit those last few minutes of the game can get you noticed by scouts and builds the muscle you need to become much more faster and quicker. This could help lead me to my dream of playing soccer for a college someday. I must continue to work on my soccer skills if I even want to think about playing for a college someday. The most vital part of playing soccer is obviously how good one’s skills are. Anybody can get out on the field and run around after the ball, but what happened when they get it? If they do not have good soccer skills then they will end up losing the ball and it would start over with them chasing after the ball again. There would be no point to it. Continuously working on these skills will slowly, but surely, improve my skill level and how good I am at the game. I need to do more then run, work out,...
