... DISCLAIMER the song “Fine Again” shows a simple yet notorious use of the bass as accompaniment. The piece of music also includes a set of electric guitars that along side the songs triple meter compose the melody and the harmony that aren’t as emphasized throughout the song, but compiles the rhythm as a whole. The drum set, although not as stressed and at times not used at all, pursue the task of following, in this care the quarter note beat in the songs meter. From the same band, the song “Touched” exhibits an opposing choice of instruments. In this song, different form any other in the album, there’s a continuous use of a female chorus that in certain instances, replaces almost completely the accompanying instruments. The duple meter remains however, supported throughout the song by the somewhat easy to ignore drums and the ever so vital and highlighted acoustic guitar; in this song, the guitar basically matches the rhythm as the song plays and becomes sort of a harmonic accompaniment to the vocals.
