...t would be cruel to the mother when in reality having an abortion is just adding to the violence already inflicted on her life. What rape takes away from a woman’s life abortion can’t restore. Victims of incest ( a type of rape) are usually very young. They see their pregnancy as a way to release them from their abusive environment, and “come out of the closet” exposing the incest. But most of them are threatened that if they ever tell anyone, that they will hurt them or they’ll rape them again. 9/10 young women don’t have a say on their abortion. The decision is that of her parents. Then when you get to the facility on top of having to deal with the fact that you were raped by someone you trusted and cared about and were worst of all related to, your raped again, medically. It’s degrading, they stick objects in you that shouldn’t be in there. The young women who do chose abortion in this scenerio say it is because the truth about his or her father can be devastating. But did anyone stop to ask the other victims?You are so quick to go for abortion because you sympathize with the mother, but does it ever cross your mind that there is another victim. A victim that has no say in his or her future. You cant go back on abortion!!! You cant just earase time and everything will be alright. You've taken a life and you have to deal with it. But please, there are other options. Adoption gives you an opportunity to watch and be active in your child's life. It gives you plenty of time to plan your future. With adoption you can feel comfortable and happy with your choice. You can still live independantly and not have to grow up too soon. You wont have to worry about money or feel burdened by a forced marriage. Adoption gives your child a better life than you yourself can provide for him or her. Be responsible for giving a life, not taking one. That child that you murdered could've found the cure for aids. They could've been someone who had a wonderful impact on society.
