Much Ado About Nothing
...projection was very suitable for the characters. The actors/actresses knew just when to be mad or laugh, smile or frown, cry or be merry. It was all very believable. All the characters hit their cues and line delivers very well. If any of the actors/actresses messed up, I never knew caught on to it. The tempo and rhythm of the lines was amazing. The gestures, movements, and the business were very clear, varied, and appropriate. The dancing in the movie looked very appropriate for the date the movie was set to be in. I was never confused on what was going on because the movements were very clear and understandable. The emotions of the actors/actresses were awesome. They had many different looks for different emotions and used the looks well throughout the movie. The emotions of each actor/actress was very believable. The reactions of the characters were very true. Once again, for example, when Claudio and Herio were supposed to get married, the reactions of everyone there were very believable. Their actions made me as an audience member believe she really did sleep with that other man. Another good scene where the characters had believable reactions was when Benedict overheard Claudio, Leonardo and the Prince talking about Beatrice’s love for him, and when Beatrice overheard Herio and their maid talking about Benedicts love for Beatrice. The two characters reactions were amazing. It was just like they were really in the characters shoes. The mood of the characters was also done very well. Their moods changed with each scene and they changed to fit was going on in that particular scene. The mood changes were done very smoothly and were also very believable. All of the mood changes were done at the right times of the movie and done on cue. There was not one mood change that seemed out of place, or done wrong. I think the climaxes of the movie were maintained very well. It built you up to the climax and made you want to find out what happened next. I think the relationships between the characters were very good. They were paired together very well. The relationship between Beatrice and Benedict was thought out very well. I also liked the closeness of the family and how they spent a lot of time together. The teamwork in the play was also done very well. You can tell that the cast of the movie used teamwork to make a wonderful production. Directing: As far as I know and saw of the movie, the aspects were faithful to the authors purpose. I think the point of the movie was to show that love will always prevail over everything. The stage compositions was also done very well. The balance, variety, and contrast of the movie fit the theme and time period well. The movie’s setting was wonderful. I think the contrast suited the movie and if it had been done differently, the movie would not have been as good as it was. The rhythm and the tempo did provide the correct mood. When there was a merry time in the movie, like the big party they had, the rhythm set the mood into a merry one. Without the rhythm and tempo, in which the movie was set, the movie would not have been so powerful. Staging: The set the movie filmed was beautiful. The background and mood is very appropriately shown through the set. The plantation the movie was shot on set the mood of love and beauty. The lighting of the movie is very good. They used lighting as a mood setter , whi...
