The Hebrew Bible and its Message
...have the opportunity to concentrate on one. Some of the Bibles contents are questionable to society. The first book of the Bible, called the Genesis, tells us about the creation of man by God and his dominance of everything on earth. This part of the bible raises many questions to the power of human beings. First of all man can not go against a beast that is twice, or just as little as half, the size of him. A good example of this could be the persecution of Christians in Rome, when they where thrown against lions. Man might be more intelligent that any other animal but not more powerful. And the intelligence that man has over other animals may have not come from the all mighty God, but through the experience of life. Why should we give gratitude to God for the creation of us?
