movie review Natural Born Killers
...r actions, but just because there are a handful of cases, I really don’t think it should be even thought of as a reason to use. In the beginning of the film, Malerie and Mickey rob a dinner and shoot everybody in the dinner except for one person. Even though this is a violent situation, things like this happen everyday all over the country, and a film shouldn’t be blamed for people’s actions. This article reminds me of the big controversy there was with the Simpson’s television show. People thought that they were too graphic and too explicit and should be off the air. Still to this day, I have not heard of somebody killing or hurting somebody else because of the Simpson’s. My family and I grew up on the Simpson’s and yet to this day have not had any problems due to them. Violence is everywhere and shouldn’t be blamed on one movie. Even though Natural Born Killers was not a great movie to me, I felt it was average film. I enjoyed Oliver’s Stone other films but just didn’t enjoy this film. The movie is a fantasy film, at the end of the film; Mickey and Malerie escape from a high security jail and live happily ever after. In real life this would not have happened, they would have lived a life on the run, and eventually got caught like everyone mostly does. Adults and children should know that this is only a film and could probably never happen. In the film, Malerie helps kill her father and then helps kill her mother because she never did anything to protect the abuse from her father. I think that this is very important, because there are many children who have been abused when they where young and often some children keep quite or sometimes retaliate. An example of this is the Melendez Case. Two adults killed their parents and used the reason that their father was abusing them for the killings. They spoke up and said what they felt and even if this was not the true reason behind the killing, they didn’t blame some film on it. There are many parts of the countries where people don’t even have access to a television but yet they are still killing and doing crazy thing. If graphic films are the reason for this, why is this still going on? In the past, before any of these programs where on television there was violence all over the world. They’re where ...
