...on within minutes. The public gets information on wars, bombings, murders, and etc. These are all things that could make a person very sad. The media influences the youth in other ways than just the news. There is music. This is said to be one of the powerful tools around. Some people say that the reason that America’s youth is so violent is because our music is violent. Events such as school shootings have been said to be caused by violent music such as Marylyn Manson and Eminem. If one had been watching the news about a year ago, they would have heard of the kids that were killed while doing stupid stunts. These kids got these ideas from a television show called Jackass. This show is filled with crazy stunts that are just meant to be funny. This may all seem stupid because they have a really good chance of getting hurt; although, there are a lot of things that the viewer doesn’t see.
