Description of the Appropriateness of the Toy: Social: The children can use cooperation, turn taking, and sharing skills. The children can also use the different categories of play (onlooker, solitary, parallel, associated, and cooperative) Physical: The children use fine motor (grasping blocks), gross motor (lifting the blocks). The children will also use eye-hand coordination. Intellectual: The children can develop language by talking to other children using the blocks. They also learn cause and effect, and trial and error.
