Marvin the Martian

...en a figment of an imagination gone wrong. He was simply drawn on a piece of paper and there was no saying if anything would ever come of it. When he was animated, it seemed like he would not fit into the regimen of things like the other Warner Brothers characters had. At the time, it was unknown how long he would exist and stay with the Warner Brothers family. Unlike Bug Bunny, who everyone seemed to know, Marvin was all on his own and he had to earn the respect of his viewers. Marvin’s main goal in life was to destroy planet Earth because it blocked his view of Venus. He had every weapon imaginable to complete his mission, but unfortunately never succeeded, but being a determined little alien, he never gave up. He had used his experimental space modulator in an effort to blow up planet Earth, but still there was never any success. He was fortunate however, to have his loyal sidekick K-9. K-9 was his green dog that dressed very similar to him. He was sporting a brush hat, much like the Romans and a tutu with four red and white sneakers. Marvin also had what he called, Instant Martians which he used in an episode against Bugs Bunny. They were green as well, and looked sort of like the Grinch. Almost like K-9, but of a different dimension, there was Hugo, the abominable snow man that he had picked up in the Artic. But for the most part, you would always see Marvin with K-9, his loyal companion that would follow him where ever he went and would get in the way most of the time. That did not bother Marvin because it was his dog and he would always keep him no matter what. Marvin the Martian is not a well known character because to date he has only appeared in five theoretically written cartoons with other characters. To there surprise, Marvin shocked viewers with his first appearance in Bugs Bunny Haredevil Hare released In July of 1948. He was then seen again in Hasty Hare in 1952, Duck Dodgers in the 24 ½ Century in 1953, Hare-way to the Stars in 1958, and Mad as Mars hare in 1963.
