Marijuana
...bad the Government says marijuana is, there will always be supporters for the drug. Many people believe marijuana is safer than alcohol. Marijuana also has many positive uses. First off, marijuana “shows potential for improving severe weight loss (wasting) caused by AIDS,” (Medical Marijuana) and “Holds particular promise for alleviating nausea and vomiting in people undergoing chemotherapy” (Medical Marijuana). Another positive thing about marijuana is that it is a “Pain relief” (Erowid). Marijuana has more positive uses than alcohol does. With many facts that show the positive uses of marijuana, the Government should just legalize the drug. The drug is a whole lot safer than alcohol, and it does not cause people to act crazy like people who drink alcohol. People who smoke marijuana are usually more relaxed, and calmer than people who drink alcohol. You do not hear people on the news talking about how some person got arrested at a club because he was smoking marijuana. Most people who do get arrested at a club are drinking alcohol because the alcohol got the person crazy. If a person were at club smoking marijuana, that person would be clam and relaxed and would not be looking to get into trouble. No matter what the Government does, people will always smoke marijuana.
