...judgment and all that stuff. Well what about alcohol? If you ask any recovered or recovering alcoholic they will tell you that boos are 100 times more harmful than weed. Forget the fact that there has never been a case of a marijuana overdose in the history of human existence, focus on the fact that thousands and thousands of deaths are caused by alcohol poisoning and alcohol related accidents every year. Alcohol is shown to be much more physically harmful than marijuana but yet infinitely more socially acceptable. People die from drinking all the time, in college and other places. Millions upon millions of people have died from smoking cigarettes but here they are still. Don’t get me wrong, I like to have the occasional cigarette and beer, and I know they are both bad for me. The point is that it is my choice. Assuming I’m not getting behind the wheel of a car after throwing down a couple I’m not hurting anybody by getting drunk. If I chose to smoke marijuana it would be the same thing, who is getting hurt? It is also amazing to me that someone who is caught by authorities for having ounces of marijuana would spend the same amount of time in jail as someone who is there for rape. Although it is illegal in this country, marijuana is still one of the top 10 cash crops, in some states it is number 1.
