...ly good things about UW-Madison, and these comments were brought to life when I saw the school for myself. My coach was a recent graduate from Madison and he showed me around, encouraging me to consider attending school there. He believes I have the ability to play soccer at the Division I level, as he had. When my college search began in High School I was overwhelmed with the number of options. Madison was still very prominent in my mind so I looked into it. I was excited to learn that there was much more to Madison than a beautiful campus with an excellent soccer program. I found that Madison could offer every bit as strong of an academic program as any college in the country. The more I investigated, the more I wanted to attend. My father experienced the atmosphere of a smaller school at Gustavus Adolphus College, as well as a larger campus environment at the University of Minnesota. He has gently encouraged me in the direction of Madison in order for me to gain the cultural diversity and life lessons that a university setting can offer. I have worked hard in school and athletics to prepare myself to enter and graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have taken many enriched and advanced placement classes, and my course of study has been and will be quantitative and pure science in nature. My electives were filled with challenging business and technology courses. I have not yet chosen a specific caree...
