In addition, Madden NFL 2002 also boasts a superior Training Mode, in which John Madden provides an in-depth analysis of the game and teaches you the basic formations. Madden NFL 2002 also significantly benefits from unique atmospheric special effects and a charging music score that appears in cadence with the game’s fast pace. From the roar of the crowd to the smack of a rock-solid hit, Madden NFL 2002’s sounds are simply dazzling. Moreover, John Madden, Pat Summerall, and James Brown provide superb commentary that accurately follows the action in the game. Clearly, the superior special effects, commentary, and player voices not only bring the game to life, but also immerse you in the action on the field. Another strength of Madden NFL 2002 is an abysmal number of moves and tactics that are at the player’s disposal. The responsive controls now allow the player to juke, sprint, dive, and hurdle over opponents with very little skill required. The majority of the controls are under tight restraint. However, the touchy, pressure sensitive passing and field goal systems demand much repetition and patience. I...
