...see!” This quote is talking about how King Duncan will not see the light of the next day’s sunset. It happened to become possible because the King planed to come and stay at Macbeth’s castle for the entire night. Lady Macbeth is a great influence and motivator to him, but some other motivators to him would be the three witches, which gave him three predictions, one each that came to hit close to the heart in what they declared. The first witch said, “All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis!” The position that the witch was talking about was the one already held by Macbeth. Next, the second witch said, “All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor!” This prediction came true by the end of the day. Finally, the third witch said, “All hail, Macbeth, thou shalt be king here after!” With this prediction put the idea in Macbeth’s head that started him thinking about being king and made it easier for Lady Macbeth and other influences to impel him to kill King Duncan. That is what his influences and his motivators were. Macbeth’s actions came to play by the things that Lady Macbeth put into his head. At a time in the story, one of his actions was seeing a Dagger floating in the air and leading him right to Duncan’s door. Another action that Macbeth did was to kill Duncan, which he did finally convince himself with the help of his wife that he wanted to do it. After he killed Duncan, his wife set everything up and they went to bed. Then the porter found that the king was dead so he woke everyone. So in order to cover up himself and his wife he killed the two servants that his wife set up to be the killers. After all, of this he became King. He did so by saying that Malcolm, the son of King Duncan, killed his father. This fooled most people for the fact that he ran away to another place even though he went to be safe.
