...me promise several times that I would never get her something she didn’t want. But you know me, I couldn’t resist in wanting to do something that would help keep her mind off grandfather. Besides, I figured what would be the harm in breaking a promise if in the long run it would help make a difference. So after much thinking and checking everything out, I got her a cute, cuddly, ginger-colored kitten. I decided to train her for a few weeks before I surprised her. Before I knew the weeks flew by and the day had come. I was extremely excited and couldn’t wait. But little did I know that that day would be a day I would never forget. The day started off quite well. I collected all of the kitten’s belongings, and put them in her cage along with her as well. I drove slowly to grandma’s house thinking of what would be the worst thing that could happen when I showed her the surprise.
