Lastly In the Two Towers all the friends stuck together and fought aside each other and did there best to fight the evil orcs. If it wasn’t for them all being friends and accepting each other’s races the armies of each race helped each other out in defeating the orcs. Power is a second major theme in the three stories. In The Hobbit, Bilbo owns the ring. He doesn’t want to give it up for two reasons (one explained now one later). Bilbo wants the power of the ring and enjoys what he can do with it. In The Fellow Ship Of The Ring The original forger of the ring want it back so he can have the power. He sends night rangers to get this ring back for him trying to kill Frodo to get it. He is also building a HUGE army of orcs to show his power and destroy everything. In The Two Towers Golem or Smegle wants the ring of power for his own. He tries to steal it but is then changes to their side to help them destroy it then back to trying to steal it. Lastly Greed is a big theme in all three stories. The ring is what they all want not only for its power but there is this little thing for who ever possesses it they must have it and are almost willing to kill for it.
