... robbing anything from the place or not.one lady tells nancy that she had already bought one teddy cam and hearing this nancy also feels that she should also go out and buy one which she does eventually.she .nancy leaves anna alone at the house and anna finds out the teddy cam and takes the tape off from the camera.nancy's husband and nancy then have a quarrel about this and nancy's husband says that if she did not trust anna then she should just throw her out and gives nancy an ultimatum that either anna goes or the teddy cam.nancy then throws off the camera.then there are a lot of incidents where nancy is lying to her boss and anna is lying to nancy inorder to get leave from their respective jobs.nancy and her husbands are lawyers by profession though.they talk about human rights and stuff with each other.one day nancy is out for work for a few days in which time the baby learns to crawl.nancy's hubby tells anna not to say this to nancy as it would hurt her that she wasnt present for such an important thing.the husband eventually ends up telling it himself and nancy is absolutely livid on anna as she has not told her when she had asked her when she had come back and accuses her husband of sleeping with her and drinking with her.then the three nannies meet in the park and discuss how they should lie to their house mistresses.one day the couple is out for work and anna gets a call from her husband who says that their son has had an attack of asthma and he was in the hospital.anna rushes off to the hospital with the baby.when the couple returs they find anna and the baby missing and assume that anna had kidnapped their baby. when anna meets the couple and returns their baby to them and anna's son dies in the hospital.everyone is shown going in their own way and nancy calls up anna to apologise for her behavior.. ana then tells nancy that she got a new job.. and the play ends here with a silence. the salient features of this play is the humour and the comic timing in it.there are so many instances which are staged very humourously.the timing of comedy by the principle characters is pretty impeccable.there is lot of dark humour in it too.the other thing which is very noticeable is the fact that people lie a lot in their lives inorder to accomodate and facilitate their life.anna is lying to nancy and nancy is lying to her boss.thus it is a chain reaction everywhere.the only sad part is the death of the son of anna and it brings a sense of seriousness in the play.the other issue is about the treatment meted out to nannies.though they are kept to take care...
