Limiting Population Growth is a Key Factor inProtecting the Global Environment

.... Growth is not just the only thing that damages the population. Each person consumes matter; technology used in production and waste disposal all play a major role each day the population increases. We as people take up space and with the space that we consume damage the earth. We clear land for shelter, farming and manufacturing which destroys the land and the ecosystem around it. Along with clear land for production, we as humans do it for storage. Humans create waste and therefore have to find ways to reduce it and store the waste creating land dumps. There is only so much land to go around with two/thirds of the earth being water. Another issue in the population growth is the use of natural resources. We as human have learned how to adapt and created new ways of production and farming helping us to keep up with the population growth. The things we as humans cannot create are natural resources.
