Never lower the objective toward the stage while looking through the eyepiece. 4. Adjust diaphragm and get the views you want. 5. Draw the specimen being observed. Depression Slide: 1. Pick up depression slide make sure depression is up. 2. Use eyedropper to get a small amount of pond water. 3. Fill indentation with pond water completely. 4.
