Jane Austen was born December 16th, 1775 in Steventon, Hampshire, England and was the seventh out of eight children, and the second out of two daughters, her parents were Rev. George Austen and her mother Cassandra. Jane Austen lived a life of literature from a young age, she grew up reading from the large selection of books her fathered owned and often put on plays and such performances with her siblings.
