... who I have always thought of a man who has brought up our nation to this present day with freedom and justice, has disappointed me. The prime minister has exploited the fear of communism in Australians to take advantage for electoral success. Robert Menzies is a skilful politician and in order to be re-elected he has been gaining political advantage through Australian citizens by exaggerating the power of communism ideologies. I have come across to inform the readers of the Sydney Morning Herald that communism has benefits and is not all about ‘peril’ and ‘menace’. Communism is a set of beliefs that seeks to abolish private property, the common ownership of all goods and services and the disappearance of social classes. The government controls these services and goods, whereas in capitalism the owners can do what ever they please for their own benefit and greed. There is also no racism or discrimination in a communist government, since everything is equal...
