They say “I do not want to be an associate. I am an associate.” There are 7,500 Religious associates in Quebec. 7,000 aged 40-80 500 aged 20-40 Recruitment Recruitment will occur mainly through a) personal relationships b) making people aware of the opportunity c) others stories in magazines, newspapers, video etc. d) internet- Spiritan web page should be used to disseminate information about Lay Spiritans Ireland-Spiritans have their own Website North American Delegate Lay Spiritan Meeting 2000 Dates: April 28, 29, 30 2000 In’afu, Montreal, Quebec Joy Warner will help Marie-Reine to plan weekend Participants are welcome to come a day early or stay an extra day. If you wish to do this let Marie-Rein know at least one month prior to the meeting. East - regrets were received from Fr. Don McEachin who was unable to attend this years meeting - we should extend a warm welcome to USA East to attend the millennium meeting, even if they don’t have a lay person in the associate program at thas time Budget for next year’s meeting 1.
