...me cultures are superstitious. The old generation may believe them. However, the young generation is educated. They might think the cultures are superstitious and ridiculous. They would feel ashamed of them and then try to forget them. Apparently, the cultures that are based on superstitious belief would vanish along with the social progress. Furthermore, the international aids can reach nearly every corner of the world. They could assist the races which are kept away from the modern world and underdeveloped. When the young generation notices that, in fact, there is a new modern and well-developed world outside their isolated community, they might be curious.
