...ld therefore not be logically possible to get rid of a selected number of human beings, animals and infrastructure to create space, as this would demand a huge amount of time, labor and overall expenses, nor would it be fair to send a portion of the human race to Mars. What I am advocating for is simple and will not only have a significant impact to the living population but also to those that are yet to come. It is the general consensus that when a person dies, he or she leaves the face of the earth never to be seen or heard from again. Such a person, unfortunate as it may seem will never see the light of day. Why then should such a person – popularly known as a corpse continue to take up space in our already crowded planet? The number of cemeteries has gone beyond reasonable standards over the years due to the rate of mortality being at an increasing high. Soon enough, the supposedly “dead” will begin to close in on us if we don’t take to action now. In this case, this means digging out all cemeteries and clearing the land for more important purposes. In addition, a law banning the act of burying a human corpse or anything else for that matter should be enacted to prevent this unnecessary wastage of land in future. (I must mention here that this cleared land is not to be used under any circumstances to put up any buildings or infrastructure). As I said earlier, this practice would provide some positive advantages to the society.
