...e habitat. Mullholand took all the water from owens lake until it was dry. This killed many organisms. It kill farmers crops, plants,trees, and animals. Owens valley went from a beautiful fertile area to a dry uncroppable desert. This change in the habitat mad many people miserable, and also killed many beautiful organisms.That is one of the many reasons why the greatest good shouldn’t go to the graetest amount of people. Changes in the eccosystem terribly alter the enviroment. There are many ways taking water from one place and moving it to another change the eccosystem. First of all this idea changes the climate. The climate was cool, and had fertile land within owens valley. Taking all of the water made the climate terribly worst. It became very hot and became impossible for most plant life to survive. The eccosystem also changed with the decrease of the population. Because Mullholland took all of the water from Owens Valley, many fled. We must not change the eccosystem so that the world is balanced. If we do the earth will become crowded in specific areas. This is another reason why Mullhollands quote is wrong. Mullholland brought hatred and depression among many people. Because of him, crops were killed, people were thirsty, and some even died. Mulholland hurt the eccosytem badly. He kept taking water from all these outside places, and brought them all into L.A. leaving many with no water. His idea was terrible, because he would have had to keep pouring more and more water into L.A. from many different resources, until there was ...
