...el that it is a direct indicator of the economic progress of Angola. As far as life expectancy is concerned, the U.S. and Congo are both far superior to Angola. The life expectancy of the U.S. is 77, Congo 47, and Angola 38. This tells me that Angola’s health care is extremely inferior to that of not only world powers like the U.S., but also to countries in its own region such as Congo. This is also true with per capita income, Congo at $1,496, holds a slight edge over Angola, which is at $1,114. However, the U.S. as expected is far greater than both Congo and Angola, at $32,042. Unlike life expectancy, Angola is comparable to Congo in per capita income. However, the U.S. is still far out of reach from the likes of Angola. I feel that this is true, because the life expectancy of the U.S. at 77 is more than twice that of Angola at 38.
