...In the reign of Amenophis 4th who was Tutankhamun’s father, he created a new religion to adore the Sun God. After 30 years old, he changed his own name to Akhenaten. Besides, he established a new capital named Akhetaten. It was the house of the main temple of Amun. Akhenaten had two wives and King Tut was born by his father’s second wife named Kiya because the first wife had 6 daughters, no son to carry on the lineage. Both of his father’s wives were not taken notice in the history of his family. King Tut ruled throne very early. He was only 9 years old when his father died and he became the only son who carried on the lineage. King Tut changed his name to Tutakhamun because the first name when he was a child was Tutakhaten. Tutakhamun got married with his older half sister- one of the daughters of his father’s first wife. As King Tut was too small to take the control, he needed the help of two high officials. One named Ay who was Nefetiti’s father. Another one’s named Horemberd, he was the commander in chief of the army.
