...no. The feeling of betrayal that most Black women have when a Black man dates or marries a white woman is the same feeling is present when the Black male is gay. They are once again forced to deal with the inconsistencies of the Black male culture. Black masculinity does not exclude those that are homosexual. Many Black men identify as homosexuals but are still positive, strong, and masculine. I believe the few are being characterized as the whole. To correct these stereotypes and misconceptions, the Black culture has to evolve with the changing time and the shifts in the American culture.
