With nowhere else to get help from and time running out, a desperate father takes the emergency room hostage. Holding the emergency room hostage helped John Q. get his son’s name on the donor’s list. If a heart was not found in time for Michael, John Q was going to take his own life in order to give his heart to his son. Before John Could commit suicide Denise goes running to him to let him know that they found a heart for Michael. Michael goes into heart surgery and everything comes out good. John Q. becomes a hero and a criminal in the eyes of the law. He is guilty of holding hostage and innocent of murder. Ever since the movie John Q came out in theaters I have been anxious to see it. Just by seeing the previews of the action, sadness, and hope of one father I had a clue that it was going to be an excellent movie. I could see this movie over and over again and I will not get bored with all the drama it has. Every time I watch the movie I pay closer attention to it and I never see anything that is wrong with it. All the actors were excellent especially Denzel putting a strong performance as a loving and caring father. Director Nick Cassavetes and producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules did a great job in coming up with this movie. This movie gave an explanation of the real world and how far someone will go for a love one. Their main point was for us to see how far someone will go for a love one and the way some medical assistance cheat us. In my opinion I agree with the director thi...
