Students can take tests on the student computer. 12.00-12.35 Library. You must go with the class and stay with them during the library time. 12.35-1.30 MATH. Assign all the “PRACTICE” PROBLEMS FOR PROBLEM SET # 10 THROUGH 40. They will moan and grumble but it isn’t really that huge of an assignment. 1.30-2.00. if they have been reasonably “good” , let them make more Christmas stuff and put it up. If they have not been good assign they the 7 , 8 , & 9 times tables 5 times each 1-12. 2.00 Band students get ready for band. 2.00-2.45 Study Hall for those that stay. If they have “nothing” to do they should read their library book. 2.45-2.50 Chairs up / trash pick-up 2.50 Bell/ Bus Duty Mrs. Mitchell, This note is about the assignment that dealt with parallel and intersecting streets and I believe supplementary and complimentary angles. Kay and I feel that one of our obligations as both teachers and parents is being available to our own children to help them with their homework assignments. We try to work with them if they seem to need more guidance than usual on certain assignments. The “parallel street” assignment was one that Mitchel and I spent some time on . He worked through it and did understand the concepts by the time we discussed the different terms and how they applied to this assignment. Mitchel and I both felt that he had accomplished a lot and had done a good job working through a difficult assignment. Mitchel tells me now that his assignment did not even get checked due to the poor showing of the first few papers...
