... Jay and Silent Bob is the funniest movie I’ve seen since Office Space. Kevin’s Smith’s extraordinary portrayal of Silent Bob is only matched by his wit, his writing, and his directing. And when you add all the other great actors in this movie such as Jason Mewes (Jay), Shannon Elizabeth, Ben Affleck, and Jason Lee you've got one sure mega-hit. Jay and Silent grew up in front of the Quick Stop grocery store. Of course they had real homes; they just never used them. The clerks (another great Kevin Smith movie, but this I time, I'm referring to the storefront workers) of the Quick Stop set a restraining order on the duo. They seek acceptance at Brodie’s Secret Stash comic book store. There they find out that Hollywood stole their story, and is making money off it.
