...s and, of course, family life. I am in full control, but no one that has a problem with that can do anything about it. I’ve created trust with my people and a strong military force of peasants. Though I am certain I will run into countless social and political problems throughout my reign, my dynasty will last forever. Before me, numerous emperors have tried to create a lasting dynasty, but failed for many Standridge 2 reasons. Some have lost the trust of their people and were taken over by rebellions. Others just simply had bad luck with natural disasters such as floods. Whatever the case may be, I am here now and I have learned from their mistakes, now I am her to stay. I give peasants land, so they pay me with crops and I tax them to death. They also serve in my all mighty military. This creates trust and loyalty between my peasants and me. Some may feel that I am taking advantage of them, but this is not so. I may have trouble with this method due to rising populations. As the population increases, the amount of land lots for farming stays the same. So, I have too many people with a great demand for food, and still just get the same amount of tax for the land. This system will probably not work out too long. I certainly try to do what is best for China by not allowing foreign religions. My ruling follows Confucianism, but in order to keep peace and Standridge 3 prevent rebellion, I do allow for different people to hold their own minuet beliefs. Neo-confucianism will be allowed under certain regulations. However, I will not allow anything to stand in the way of a Confucianism China. If anyone causes trouble, I will not hesitate to have them severely punished or even put to death. China is undergoing change, some good, some bad. I am expanding the roads throughout China for further and easier on land trading and traveling. But even more important, over sea’s trade is becoming bigger and bigger. I hope to help create a wonderful east-west relationship. Travels are now somewhat welcome into China. This may cause problems for the strong beliefs of my dynasty.
