...elieves in the Prophet and Patriarch Abraham, and their three prophets are directly descended from his sons- Mohammed (P.B.U.H) from the eldest, Ishmael, Moses, Jesus from Isaac (P.B.U.H). Same as Christians believe in Prophets and Patriarch Abraham and their three prophets. These religions also differ in their basic concepts like Muslims do not believe in Trinity where as Christians believe in Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Islam believes that Christ was neither crucified nor killed by the Jews, he was taken up by God ( i.e. God raised him up to him self). On other hand Christians believe the Jesus was crucified on the cross. Muslims have their holy Book named “Quran” which was revealed to Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H) through the angel Gabriel who was carrying on God’s instructions. Christians have their own Holy Book named “Holy Bible”. Moral Codes are also where these religions differ as well as they link. In Islam, God severely punishes the worship of any deity other than God himself as well as disrespect towards himself. The same is in Christianity religion about worshiping other than God himself. Islam permits fighting in self-defense, in defense of religion, or on the part of those who have expelled forcibly from their houses. Christianity like Islam, permits fighting in self defense, and defense of religion. In both religions intoxication, suicide and homosexuality if forbidden. According to Christian calendar they also fast and after the last day of fasting they celebrate a day too which is known as “EASTER”.
