Is it good for the country to have one political party control all three branches of government?

... If only one perspective is getting supported, then democracy is not being practiced. A government such as that could be considered totalitarian, or leadership by the minority. This would never be good for a nation, because in order to become a successful nation, the outlooks of all are needed, which just is not done with one political party. The United States government is made up of three different branches, each with its own jobs and different powers. The Executive Branch, headed by the President, includes responsibilities such as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Chief Diplomat and Chief Legislature. The Legislative Branch, which includes the House of Representatives and the Senate, has duties such as making laws and deciding how money is spent.
