In Ode two the points that are made is that if Oedipus doesn‘t tell the truth don’t bother talking to Zeus. An image that is used in the play in Ode two is dust of hope, and it’s saying that Zeus had faith that he will tell as soon as he did it, but was surprised that he didn’t. The feelings that are expressed in Ode two is that not telling the truth can get you into more trouble, because someone can always suspect it.
