In the story Eleven, Rachel didn’t have a say in whether the ugly, raggedy, itchy, red sweater was hers or not, her teacher just sat it on her desk. Kevin, in User Friendly, couldn’t tell his computer to do things to other people; it just went on ahead and did it. For that people got mad at Kevin when he didn’t even do anything. All these stories had the same theme of injustice, but all of them different in so many ways. Just because you experience injustice doesn’t mean that you can’t control it. Kevin could have controlled his misery because he didn’t have to tell the computer all the information that he did. Although, Ibrahima didn’t have a choice, he was forced to be a slave, and if he opposed he would have most likely been killed.
