I believe that in each class there are individuals who need to be educated on specific levels, and that is one of the main aims of the Montessori informal educational theory, introduced in Rome,1907 by Maria Montessori. This method also emphasises the development of self-Reliance, by letting children do or learn what interests them on their own, but with boundaries. Special equipment is also a necessity to hasten the childs development with this method of teaching. When the child is capable of learning something new and more difficult, the teacher does not teach the child but rather guides the child on his or her new endeavours. It has been proved that the Montessori method has enabled children to learn more quickly and with greater results in contradiction to formal education. Although, Many would disagree that the Montessori method is not a competent way of educating. The formal education system is based on the traditional Jewish education but modified by Christianity, later also improved by great greek philosophers like Aristotle, and the same method has been passed down from generation to generation. The formal education method possesses many characteristics. One of these being a structured classroom with rows of desks a white or black board and a teachers desk in the front, another, a planned time table, and the most important a bland, structured method of explaining and teaching. A teacher will introduce and explain the subject, and the ask questions and handout worksheets to revise the subject, finally the pupils will be tested on the subject and then move on to another subject.
