In an Ideal Work Place

The lighting should aloud the user to see things clearly, especially if the user has a computer in the room. Lighting should be controlled so that there is not excess light or too little. It should not slow down the work progress, such as light reflection from the computer monitor or office desk, which causes strain on the eyes. The temperature of the room must be controllable by air conditioner/fans/windows etc. The user must be able to frequently change the temperature to suit his/her needs. The temperature must not be over heated or cooled that the user is disabled from working. Air quality should be refreshing and perfumed from any unpleasant smell since bar air quality can distract the user of working. As for noise, there should not be any. If the user desire music, it should not be loud enough to distract the user and well as others. This also applies to telephone ring and conversation. The Physical environment should work with the user! The user should be able to access and store information with ease. Which means the user will not have to suffer stress over missing information, or have to constantly get out of his seat if the physical environment is properly arrange. Seating and desk arrange is the first priority. The seating for the worker must be economical, which means the seat can be adjusted in many ways to suit the users needs. The desk must provide more then enough space for the user to work in, since they tend to have many items on the desk. If a computer is used or other large items, you must then require a large desk. The height on the desk must be right, so that the user is able see his/her work or computer monitor.
