In fact, the author says that to prevent these Haitian refugees from coming to America the President had to send troops to Haiti. The author also states that this is not the only attempt to deal with these problems that immigration has caused. He states that presently there are two bills to deny welfare benefits to illegal immigrants. The response from the White House, the Congress, governor’s mansions, and voters of America has been to eliminate the costs immigrants impose on United States taxpayers. One very persuasive point he brings up is welfare benefits in America are higher than the average income in many countries. Anybody can relate to this and see that this problem does exist and that this issue must be resolved immediately.
